Dominican Diaspora was started in February 2008 after I spent 4 hours developing a HubPage on Dominica and coming to the realisation that I really didn’t know much about the traditions, history and heritage that was mine by birth.
In this video I speak a little about my hopes for the network. Someone who helped play a big part in supporting DD to gain new members a few weeks into its existence was Dr Thompson Fontaine from The Dominican dot net who published an article I wrote which brought in a number of new members.
